With iPad popularity, other computer manufacturers try to get profit from tablet computer trend by making tablet computer. One of new tablet computers is Archos 70 – 8 GB Internet Tablet. Every product in market always has its pros and cons but this time I will not compare between this Archos tablet with iPad but I will focus on Archos tablet. For anyone who want affordable internet tablet with Android OS, Archos 70 – 8 GB is one of the answers. This tablet comes with Android OS 2.2 Froyo (Frozen Yogurt). It has 7" monitor, 16-million-color capacitive multitouch LCD with 800 x 480 WVGA pixel resolutions. Its monitor is good enough to watch videos and internet browsing. To watch videos/movies, the battery can stands until 7 hours, 10 hours if we use it for internet browsing, and 36 hours if we only use it to listen to music. Unfortunately this affordable internet tablet with Android OS only has 256 MB of RAM so it is not that good to run multiple applications at once. Moreover, flash version for this tablet is not too up-to-date therefore when we come to website that uses chat-box such as Chatango, we can not make a chat. Overall, with just $250, I think this Archos 70 – 8 GB Internet tablet is good stuff to buy as an alternative for iPad. This post was taken from Cutie Gadget, a Gadgets Gifts Blog. Related posts:
