You can change your iPhone 4, iPod, or iPad into a simple 3D scanner by adding an application to your gadgets. The app that you need to add into your gadgets is Trimensional application. The Trimensional is able to simulate the cam to capture images for the 3D result by flashing a sequence of four frames on the screen. The cam will projecting different images from the screen and creates a simple 3D map of your face. The application will automatically processes the images from the capturing process and combines each some parts from each frame to make a 3D image. However, to make good 3D image, the image capture should be done under certain condition and you can read the guidelines in the application. The most important setting is that you have to turn the screen brightness to the maximum and take the image on the darkened room. You also need to stand still while taking the image.
